사랑과 헌신(의 차이점)

Love burns the lover.
사랑은 러버를 태운다.

Devotion burns the Beloved.
헌신은 비러벳을 태운다.

Love seeks happiness for the Beloved.
사랑은 비러벳의 행복을 추구한다.

Devotion seeks for blessing from the Beloved.
헌신은 비러벳으로 부터 은혜(축복)를 추구한다.  

Love seeks to shoulder the burden of the Beloved.
사랑은 비러벳의 짐을 덜어드리려 한다. 

Love gives. Devotion asks.
사랑은 준다. 헌신은 달라고 한다.

Love is silent and sublime, devoid of outward expressions.
사랑은 말 없고 숭엄(숭고)하며, 전혀 표면적이지 않다. (전혀 외적표현이 없다. )

Devotion expresses itself outwards.
헌신은  그 자체가 외적 표현이다. (헌신은 자체를 외적으로 표현한다.)

Love does not require the presence of the Beloved in order to love.
사랑은 사랑을 하기 위해서, 비러벳의 함께함이  요구되지 않는다.
사랑은 사랑을 하기 위해서, 비러벳의 참석을(임재를) 요구하지 않는다.

Devotion demands the presence of the Beloved to express affection for the Beloved.
{그러나} 헌신은 비러벳에 대한 애착(애정)을 표현하기 위해서 비러벳의 임재를(참석을) 요구한다.
